NEW HORIZONS
REUVEN DORON - ONE NEW MAN CALL
Jew and Gentile as One in Messiah

VISION
The apostolic vision for the Body of Messiah (Ephesians 2:11-18) is one of spiritual "Jesus Centered" oneness, true to the very nature of God Himself who is perfect in unity. “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one“ (Deuteronomy 6:4). Contending for the maturity of the Ephesian disciples, the Apostle Paul made these observations:
THE TRAGEDY: “... remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called "the uncircumcision" by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands, remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.” Paul says that all who weren't part of the people of Israel were hopelessly and eternally cut off and separated from God.
THE REMEDY: “But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Now, Paul says, through the sacrifice of God’s Son and Messiah, our Heavenly Father welcomes all people and nations into His eternal family, the true Israel and the Olive Tree of God.
THE PLAN: “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances...” In Messiah we become one people, born of His Spirit into God's family.
THE PURPOSE: “… that he might create in himself ONE NEW MAN in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility... For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.”
